In preparation for their participation in the International Big Band Competition (IBBC) in the Netherlands, the Jazzfest Big Band (JFB) organizes an open rehearsal / try-out in GC den Egger's lobby on Sunday 29 May at 19.00. Everyone is welcome, the entry is free!
The Jazzisfaction Big Band has been the home-bigband of GC den Egger since 2015. The professional and semiprofessional musicians are led by conductor Jos Moons at home and abroad. This open rehearsal is a unique opportunity to see the renowned big band live at work 'behind the scenes' in the egger. On Friday, September 23th, the Jazzisfaction Big Band will open the new season 2016-2017 of GC den Egger on a festive basis.
The IBBC is part of the Corendon Meer Jazz Festival and is the largest bigband tour of Western Europe. The Jazzisfaction Big Band will share the podium on Saturday 4 June with 19 other big bands from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Estonia and the Czech Republic.
