I can find virtually nothing in any review about this recording. I guess no one wanted to say anything bad about Count Basie so they didn’t say anything. While Chico O’Farrill is well known and respected for his Afro-Cuban writing, he did two albums for Basie of pop hits, Basie's In The Bag and Basie’s Beatles Bag which was even worse.
But this is kinda’ fun. Also note that the drummer o this cut it Louis Bellson.
