Here’s Children Of The Night from one of the all time great arrangers, Billy May. It’s the recording that first made me aware of May. Children of the Night features the incredible high note playing of Bud Brisbois. Actually I’ve never thought his few bars of stratospheric playing was necessary. But necessary or not, it’s worth hearing him play.
